With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Lynn Coombs (Coldwater, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Coombs; and her parents, Ron Ellis and Celina Ellis. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Surgenor (Kevin), Nicole Colp (Dave), Jamie Coombs (Kaitlin) and Scott Coombs (Emily); her grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan, Isabella, Matteo, Makayla, Everett, Evelyn and Ruby; her close friend John Hipwell; and her siblings, Curt Ellis, Rick Ellis, Rachel Knox and Cathy Knox.
As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Janet may be made to the Terry Fox Run, St. George's Anglican Church, Fairvalley or to the Mariposa House Hospice, Severn and may be made through the Funeral Home.
