She was predeceased by: her husbands, Lorne Beard and Horace Laughlin; her son Benjamin Beard; her stepdaughter Gail Cranney; and her brothers, Glenn Potter and Lawrence Potter.
She is survived by: her children, Vern Laughlin of Waubaushene, Aron Laughlin (Laura) of Mount St, Mary-Ann Morano (Bill) of Orillia and Andy Beard (Susan) of Coldwater; her stepson Gary Beard (Cindy) of Bass Lake; and her grandchildren, Ryan, Devin, Crystal, Tyler, Michelle, Sarah, April and Andrew. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (28 Gray St, Coldwater, ON L0K1E0).
As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Nancy may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Coldwater and may be made through the Funeral Home.
