He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Kohler; his siblings, Ted, Doris and Lily; and his nephew Michael Elson.
He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Kristen Laughton (Gord), Jamie Sebastian, David Clifton, Ben Siapas and Hannah Clifton (Miguel Contreras); and his pet Chrissy. He is also survived by other relatives, in particular Sue Hill (niece).
In lieu of flowers donations to the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital or the Georgian Triangle Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
