He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Wilhelmina (Schell); and his in-laws, Ed and Dorothy Nicholson. He is survived by: his wife Carol (Nicholson); his daughters, Trish Rohrbacher (Matt) and Jen Koos (Renay); his grandchildren, Ryan Ferguson, KateLynn Ann Ferguson (Travis), Rebecca Rohrbacher, Taylor Wiggins (Chris) and Shelby Wiggins; his great grandchildren, Atticus, Barrett and Brinley; and his sister Kathy Currie.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion - Collingwood (490 Ontario St, Collingwood, ON L9Y1N6).
