He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald DeNike and Helen DeNike. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kathy"; his children, Shawn and Lindsey DeNike; his grandsons, Caleb and Kyle; and his siblings, Douglas DeNike (Janine), Janet Thoms (Robin), Carol Laviolette (Paul) and Ann Witt (Bruce). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fawcett Funeral Homes - Collingwood Chapel (82 Pine St, Collingwood, ON L9Y2N7). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Emmanuel Presbyterian Church (3521 County Rd 124, Nottawa, ON L0M1P0).
