George Arbuthnot Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Arbuthnot of Collingwood, Ontario, who passed away on July 20, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Arbuthnot and Alma Robinson (Sarah); and his brother Ron. He is survived by: his wife Audrey (Sadler); his children, Nancy (Jim), Scott (Norine) and David (Natalie); his grandchildren, Malcolm (Megan), Mitchell, Craig, Matthew, Shaye, Ewan, Denholm and Gage; his brother Reg; and his sisters-in-law, Linda and Beverley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fawcett Funeral Homes - Collingwood Chapel (82 Pine St, Collingwood, ON L9Y2N7). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
