She was predeceased by: her parents, Joan and William; and her siblings, Nancy, Mary, Margaret, Jenny, Norman, Jim and Malcolm.
She is survived by: her husband Dan Purdie; her children, Gerry (Amy), Hayden (Courtney) and Leia (Brett); her grandchildren, Thomas, Peter, Jacob and Harley; her stepsons, Rob and John; her siblings, Sheila (Dan), Debbie (John) and Greg (Suzanne); and her aunt Jan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Fawcett Funeral Homes - Collingwood Chapel (82 Pine St, Collingwood, ON L9Y2N7).
In lieu of flowers donations in Heather's memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
