Hugh Lamont Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hugh Lamont (Collingwood, Ontario), born in Stayner, Ontario, who passed away on March 29, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Beverley; his children, Ian (Dawn) and Patti (Tyler); his grandchildren, Porter and Canon; his parents, Alex Lamont and Peggy Lamont; his siblings, Lorne (Audrey), Jim (Debbie), Dorothy Evans (late Tom), Bonnie Doll (Dennis) and Allan; and his siblings-in-law, George (late Bonnie), Doug Atwood (Anne), Pat MacKay and Shirley Holt (Peter). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
An avid reader, he was completely blind for seven months during the pandemic until he had cataract surgery and regained vision in his right eye.
In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Georgian Triangle – Campbell House or Collingwood General & Marine Hospital – Dialysis Unit may be made in Hugh's memory.
