Robert left this world on October 25, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dorothy Coates and Georges Croisiau; his father-in-law Peter Moenck; his wife Mary Jane McIntyre; his children, Nathaniel (Cate) and Ali (Vahid); his cousins, Bruce Coates (Adele), Jan Coates (Harald) and David Coates (Kaoru); his uncle Don; and his aunt Dona Coates.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bear Estate (300 Balsam St, Collingwood, ON L9Y0B3).
