It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Joseph Stapleton (Collingwood, Ontario), who passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Desmond and Barbara; his sons, Philip and Geoffrey; and his grandson David.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his siblings, Val (Don) and John (Mona); his sons, Peter and David (Anne); his grandchildren, Christine, Patrick, Rachel, Holly and William; and his great grandchildren, Mileena, Ella and Cooper.
