It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fernand Schryer of Coniston, Ontario, who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his sister Denise Taillefer (Andy); his niece Lisa Chretien; his great-niece Alisa Rider (Carson); his nephew Micheal Chretien (Natalie); his godmother Fern; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Riley and Corey; his niece Nicole Chretien (Jason); his great-niece Kaitlyn; his great-nephew Nicholas; his sister Diane Chretien; his siblings' children, Yvon, Rejean and Robert; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Reanna and Nikita; his godson Robert Chretien of Alberta; his brother George Schryer of Coniston; his siblings' children, Michelle and Bradley; Carlee.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Nickle City Banquet Hall (232 Hazel Street).
