He is survived by: his wife Elaine Smithrim; his children, Karen Paszternak (Joe), Bryan Smithrim (Lucia), Mary Lou Smithrim and Darryl Smithrim (Christine); his grandchildren, Tiffany, Amy, Ashly, Georgia and Charlotte; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Hannah and Lauren.
