She was predeceased by: her husband Morris Emerson Collins; her parents, John McDonald and Mary McDonald; her siblings, Morris McDonald, Claire Radcliff, Maureen Clarke (late Ken), Wallace McDonald (late Vivian), Sheila Sauntry (late Ray), Ramsey McDonald (late Molly), Veronica McDonald and Alda Gregus; and her friend Karl Craibe.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Collins (Mario Vien) of Cornwall, Cindy Collins-Kitts (Randy) of Cornwall and Randy Collins of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Courtney Delorme, Meagan Kitts (Becky), Bronson Kitts and Madison Kitts; and her siblings, Colleen McDonald, Garry McDonald (Claudette) and Gail Bond (late Herb).
