It is with sadness that the passing of Charles Garrett Wert (Cornwall, Ontario) is shared. Charles, born on March 21, 1942, passed away on October 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carrol Wert; his parents, Anna Wert and Fred Wert; and his siblings, Ida Johnson, Grant Wert (Alice), George Wert and Muriel Gallant.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Thompson (David) and Melissa Moxon (Chris); his grandchildren, Nolan (Samantha), Emma and Grace; and his sister Joan Spooner.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lahaie & Sullivan Funeral Home - West Branch (20 Seventh St W, Cornwall, ON K6J 2X7).
As an expression of sympathy, donations to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or The Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
