He was predeceased by: his wife Madeleine Cleveland (Blanchard); his parents, Charles Cleveland and Ann Cleveland (Howard); and his siblings, Neil, Max, Maxine, Dale and Gary.

He is survived by: his children, Michèle Cleveland-St. Amour (Gilles), Francine Graham (Brian) and Mark Cleveland (Corina); his grandchildren, Sasha, Nicholas, Kendra, Brooke, Elysium and Oasis; and his sister Gwen.
