He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia McIntosh; his great grandchild Wesley; his parents, Salem Thomson and Jean Thomson (Urquhart); and his sister Dorothy Campbell (John).
He is survived by: his children, Robin (Christie), Don (Helen), Kathy Ann MacLennan (Rory) and Donna Lee O'Farrell (Dermid); his grandchildren, Leigh (Maureen), Neil, Drew (Jennifer), Kurtis (Karen), Kelsey MacDonald (Adam), Katie Andrews (Nathan), Marnie O'Farrell, Erin O'Farrell (Rob), Cassie O'Farrell, Collin (Anna), Brenna Montford (Kevin), Hannah and Katherine; and his great grandchildren, Brooke, Tristan, Emma, Scotlyn, Ashton, Adelyn, Kayden, Teagen, Nora, Isaiah and Freya.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St Andrews United Church (18540 Kirk St, Martintown, ON K0C1S0).
