We bid farewell to Douglas Dowson of Cornwall, Ontario, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 1, 2026 at the age of 68. Douglas touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dowson and Elsie Dowson; and his son Micheal. He is survived by: his children, Kaitlan Buter (Ryan) of Iroquois, Elizabeth Lemaire (Anthony) of Morrisburg and Zachary Dowson of Morrisburg; his siblings, George Dowson (late Donna) of Morrisburg, Marjorie Buhlman (Bill) of Toronto, Bob Dowson (Marilyn) of Newcastle, Barbara Yantze (late Elmer) of Morrisburg and Mike Dowson of Vancouver; and his grandchildren, Brayden, Alice Buter, Claira, William and Micheal Lemaire. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
