The memory of Edwina Lapointe of Cornwall, Ontario, who passed away on October 24, 2025 at the age of 100, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Donat Lapointe; her sisters, Anita Ouellette (late William), Irene Gauthier (late Lawrence) and Georgette Proulx (late Allan Humphrey); her friend Louis Rioux of Cornwall; and her parents, Arthur Proulx of Alexandria and Elizabeth Diotte of Ste-Anne.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Leger of Cornwall, Richard of Cornwall and Carole Greggain (Larry) of Cornwall; and her nephew Leo Ouellette (Marcia) of Cornwall.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Boulerice Funeral Home, Ltd. (218 Montreal Rd, Cornwall, ON K6H1B4). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Valois Church (620 Glengarry Blvd, Cornwall, ON K6H6E7). A burial will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Sacre Coeur Parish Cemetery (20500 SDG CNTY Rd 10 - GLEN ROBERTSON, Alexandria, ON K0C1A0).
