Fernand Paul Mayer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fernand Paul Mayer (Cornwall, Ontario), who passed away on June 29, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Desanges Mayer; his parents, Emile Mayer and Yvonne Mayer; and his siblings, Maurice, Jeannette O'Neil, Lucille Landry and Thérèse Houde.
He is survived by: his children, Suzanne Payette (Michel), Colette O'Meara and Daniel Mayer (Stephanus Widjaja); his grandchildren, Arik Payette (Christine), Justin Payette (Josée), Chantal Lennon (Jeremy), Brandon O'Meara and Kaitlyn O'Meara (Mario Lyrette); and his siblings, Marielle Leroux, Réné Mayer and Richard Mayer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Boulerice Funeral Home, Ltd. (218 Montreal Rd, Cornwall, ON K6H1B4). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Peter's Church (2900 Second St E, Cornwall, ON K6H6R2).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Fern's memory to Carefor Cornwall Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
