He was predeceased by: his wife Denise Ruest; his parents, Roméo Ruest and Reina Ruest; and his siblings, Maurice Ruest (Eva), Rheal Ruest (late Jeanine), Lionel Ruest (late Linda) and Liette Ranger (Lionel).
He is survived by: his children, Patrick Ruest (Chantale) and Joël Ruest (Penny); his grandchildren, Justin Ruest, Tricia Warnock (Jessy) and Bradley Ruest (Natacha); and his great grandchildren, Keedan, Brenny, Peyton, Cole, Violette and Emmanuelle.
