He was predeceased by: his wife Nora Derochie; and his parents, Albert Derochie and Dora Derochie. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Derochie (Hugh) of Peterborough and Kevin Derochie (Frances) of St. Andrews West; his granddaughters, Emma and Gabriella; and his siblings, Karen Senecal (late Victor), Lynn Molinaro (John) and Brenda Shaw (Douglas).
