He was predeceased by: his parents, William John and Sybil Goodwin. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Goodwin; his children, David Hopkins (Mirian), Christopher Goodwin (Lynn) and Shawn Goodwin; his grandchildren, Danielle, Ashley and Brianna; and his sister Barbara Thompson (Einar).
