He was predeceased by: his parents, Gérard Rose and Yvette Sauvé; and his siblings, Maurice, Marguerite and Madeleine.
He is survived by: his sons, Martin Rose (Dorothy) and Steven McDonald (Sylvia); his sister Simone Rose-Oliver (John); and his friend Louisiane Rose. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and their children.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Precious Blood Church (18318 Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry County Road 2, Cornwall, ON K6H5R5).
