He was predeceased by: his wife Gisele Schmeer; his parents, Herman and Gertrude; and his brothers, Rolf Schmeer (Rosemarie) and Juergen Schmeer (Gertrud).
He is survived by: his children, Esther Greenfield (Rob), Frances Whaley (Steve), Paul Schmeer and Peter Schmeer (Colleen).
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home.
