He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Murphy and Anna-Mae Murphy; and his siblings, Douglas "Jack", Archie "Jack" (late Gay), Donald "Jack" (Diane), Betty Gervais (late Fern), Lorraine St (late Gordon) and Ceola Burns (late Tom).
He is survived by: his wife Beverley; his daughters, Christina Murphy, Sara Murphy (Patrick) and Tressia Murphy (Brian); his stepchildren, Michelle Despatie, Jonathan Despatie (Sarah), Andrea Despatie (Bruce) and Jana Despatie (Andreas); his grandchildren, Nathan, Jordan, Quentin, Marissa, Zackary, Alexis, Liam, Andrew, Ethan, Anna, Lilian, Eloise, Madison, Emilia and Ellianna; his siblings, Thelma Bolton (late Bunny), William Murphy (Emelia) and Sheila Gabri (Larry); and his sisters-in-law, Rita Murphy and Diane Murphy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
