He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann Fuchs and Babette Fuchs; his son Dieter Fuchs; his granddaughter Camille; and his sister Emmi.

He is survived by: his wife Ginette Fuchs; his sons, Karl Fuchs (Karine Hamel) and Stefan Fuchs (Elena Kourounis); his grandchildren, Laurence, Eugénie, Olivia, Virginie and Léah-Eve; his great grandchildren, Mathis and Sasha; and his sister Helene (Georg) of Germany.
