He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Laverne (Trump); and his daughter Betty Simone. He is survived by: his children, Raymond Hoff, Marlene Hoff, Herbert Hoff Jr., Sharon Fry (Pat) and Lila Hoff (John Leroux); his sister Eva Craig; his grandchildren, Sayward Hoff (Doug Richard), Frank Hoff (Melissa), Christopher Hoff, Angela Martin (Clayton), Sarah Berry (Myles), Evelyn O'Rourke (Dylan Tower), Ryan O'Rourke (Tiffany Wice), Spencer Hoff, Emmett Hoff, Ajay Fry (Zaira Gaudio-Fry), Michael Fry and Elizabeth Nicholls (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Liam Hoff, James Hoff, Gabriella Bustos, Owen Frederick (Taylor Brown), Iris Tower, Alex D'Aoust and Darcina Nicholls. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (822 Pitt St, Cornwall, ON K6J3S2). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Francis de Salles Church (434 Second St W, Cornwall, ON K6J1H1).
