James Poitras Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2025 we had to say goodbye to James Poitras (Cornwall, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Poitras and Gertrude Poitras; and his brothers, Roger Poitras (Pauline) and Arthur Poitras (Linda). He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Poitras; his daughters, Denise (Alex Roach), Christine (Mike Racine) and Kathleen; and his siblings, Noella Gauthier (late Leo), Lorraine Prodnick (Fern Lebrun), Darlene Carriere (Denise Lenahan), Helen Godard (Dave MacCosham), Carol Leclair (Roger) and Raymond Poitras (Kelly). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (822 Pitt St, Cornwall, ON K6J3S2). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Church (321 Tollgate Rd E, Cornwall, ON K6H5R6).
