He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Thompson; his child Gail Thompson; and his parents, Robert Thompson and Catherine Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Thompson of Cornwall, Ryan Thompson of Ingersol, Brenda Fuller (Ben) of London, Rebecca Zola (Ed) of Cornwall and Sandra Gravelle (Ron) of Cornwall; his grandsons, Nathan, Nicholas and Scott (Hannah); his great grandchild Genevieve; his brother William "Bill" Thompson of Cornwall; and his nieces, Heather Bruyere (Hector) and Trudy Cameron.
