With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jennifer Margaret (MacGregor) Benoit (Cornwall, Ontario), born in Scotland, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2025. As we bid Jennifer Margaret farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jennifer Margaret is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander MacGregor and Rachel MacGregor; and her siblings, Shirley Herdman (Sean), Heather Grant (late William) and Robert MacGregor (Marlene).
She is survived by: her former husband Cecil Benoit; her daughters, Donna Benoit and Sandra Benoit (Steve Lavictoire); and her sister Yvonne Wannop (late George). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (2077 Pitt St, Cornwall, ON K6J5G2).
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Jehovah's Witnesses would be greatly appreciated by the family.
