He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gaffney and Ada Gaffney; and his close friend Claudette Bissonnette. He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Arnold (Mike) of Markham, Ian Gaffney of Edmonton and Mike Gaffney of Cornwall; his grandchildren, Cynthia, Lydia, Rebecca and Philip; his great grandchild Rylan; and his wife Vera Aller.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Columban Catholic Church (36 Fourth St W, Cornwall, ON K6J2T4).
