She was predeceased by: her husband Emmanuel "Tom" Borromeo; her parents, Agapito Sapalasan (Rosario) and Aquilina Sapalasan; her siblings, Norma and Conrado; and her nephews, Rafael Lopez and Chito Lopez.

She is survived by: her child Francis Borromeo (Lori Kimball); her siblings, Linda and Rosario; her sister-in-law Anne Marie "Queenie" Adams; her nieces and nephews, Monty Lopez, Willie Lopez, Eric Lopez and Monette; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Elizabeth and Jackie Lopez.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made out to the Canadian Cancer Society.
