With sadness, we share the passing of Joyce Alguire (Cornwall, Ontario). Joyce, born on May 10, 1937, passed away on October 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Alguire; her parents, Daniel Alguire and Jenny Alguire; and her siblings, Willard Alguire (late Mae), Kenny Alguire, Clifford Alguire, Velma Alguire, Vera Conley (late Sterling "Dusty") and Ruth Sanderson (late Donald).
She is survived by: her child Tracy Lafave (Mark); and her sister-in-law Irene Alguire (late Sterling). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wilson Funeral Home (822 Pitt St, Cornwall, ON K6J3S2). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at the St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery (15570 County Rd 2 R. R. #3, Ingleside, ON K0C1R0).
