He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrude Lalonde; his parents, William Cameron and Margaret Summers; his siblings, Patricia Ingram and Wayne Cameron; his stepsiblings, George Jr., Jimmy, Robert, Franklin, Mary Ann Dumas and Jennette Dufresne; George Summers Sr..

He is survived by: his sisters, Gladys Sapinoso of Massena, N. Y., Connie Desormeaux (late Richard) of Cornwall, Easther Quan (Brian) of Cornwall and Suzanne Bates (Ben) of Hawkesbury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Salem United Church Cemetery (19041 Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry County Road 2, Cornwall, ON K0C2E0).

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
