Leila Papic Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leila Papic (Cornwall, Ontario), born in Caron, Saskatchewan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 27, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gus Papic; her parents, Robert Duffey and Hessie Duffey; and her siblings, Elsie Jackson (Percy), Mrytle Freeland (Reginald), Nina Crump (Charles), Donald Duffey (Charlotte), Bessie Meeds (Wesley) and Laura Duffey.

She is survived by: her daughter Colleen Andrews (Bruce); her grandchildren, Justin Allaire (Emily), Carson Andrews (Sara), Stephanie Allaire (Mark), Anne-Marie Larose (Pat) and Nathalie Doering (Wesley); and her great grandchildren, Quinn, Pierce, Rowen, Hudson, Andrew, Sofie, Juliet, Addison, August and Chloe. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Leila's name to the CCH Foundation or Carefor Hospice Cornwall.
