She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard Helmer; her parents, Stewart McLeod and Darlene McLeod; and her brother Weldon McLeod. She is survived by: her children, Blaine Helmer of Newington and Shelley Helmer of Newington; her grandchildren, Lliam and Johanna Helmer; her sister-in-law Edna McLeod; her niece Heather McLeod (Vlad); her great-nephew Jake; her sister-in-law Nadine Brennen (Shawn); her sibling's child McKenzie; and her friend Bill Sanderson.
