She was predeceased by: her husband James Burke Jr. (Jimmy); her parents, Jeanne Richard (Dubois) and Emile Richard; her siblings, Jacques Richard and Madeleine Caldwell (late Charles); and her grandson Shea Alguire.
She is survived by: her children, Kerry Alguire (Barry), Janet Faucon (Alain), Jane Burke (Paul Meldrum) and Shannon Connolly (late Declan); her sister Fleurette Quenneville (Ron); her grandchildren, Ryan, Kaytlyn, Erik, Kristofer, Brighid, Caleb, Ingrid, Isaac, Kiaran, Fiona, Cillian, Nuala and Cian; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Annabelle and Alasdair.
