She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Esdon and Betty MacDermid (late Wendel); and her brothers, Norman and Roger (Denise). She is survived by: her spouse Dougald Smith; her children, Greg (Doreen) and Kim (Glenn); her grandchildren, Mélanie, Morgan, Graham and Naomi; her brother Bill; and her sister-in-law Maureen (late Richard).
