He was predeceased by : his parents, Lucien Fournier (Leslie) and Lillian Gaines (Tootsie); and his sister-in-law Jacqueline Rupert (Russ). He is survived by : his daughter Melissa; his grandchildren, Ryan and Claire; his sister-in-law Denise Besner (Richard); his nieces and nephews, Kelly Fournier (Chantal), Kevin Fournier (Julie), Marc Besner (Tina), Kevin Besner (Dave) and Jodie Rupert (Matt); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Élya, Trycia Fournier, Logan, Kate Fournier, Paige, Chase, Alexis Besner and Kane Rupert.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Voluntas Commemoration Funeral Home (4695 Saint-Jean Blvd, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC H9H 2A7). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (434 Second St W, Cornwall, ON K6J1H1). A burial will be held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at the Notre Dame Cemetery.
