Michel George Délorme Obituary

It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of
Michel George Délorme at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
Michel, born on August 19, 1956, is remembered by family, friends and others who shared time and connection.

Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Michel for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Michel’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.

He was predeceased by his parents, the late Albert and Jeanne (Martin) Délorme.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Morin; his beloved daughter, Courtney Délorme whom he adored, and his stepsons Scott Ivens (Melissa) and Jeffrey Ivens. Beloved brother of Roger (Theresa), Donald (Cécile), his sisters Rita Perron (Gaétan), Claudette Raymond (Robert). Grandfather of Sadie, Hannah and Kaleb Ivens and Daemen Prevost. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Michel's wishes, cremation has taken place.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the St. Columban's Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in Michel’s memory can be made to the Cornwall Community Hospital or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family, with a note to please notify the family
