He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Ross; his parents, Francis Ross and Edna Ross; and his siblings, Shirley Nixon (late Emmett), Joan McGrath (late Jack), Frances Wilkonson (late Earl), Robert Ross (Shirley) and Viola Smith (Brian).

He is survived by: his stepchild Rae Hands (Simara) of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
