She was predeceased by : her husband John Troost; and her siblings, Jans, Jo, Janny and Pieter.

She is survived by : her children, Marjanne (Bruce Meyer), Robert (Ana Aronja Martin), Eileen (James Martin) and Rene (Heather Pert); her grandchildren, Stephanie (Heath Houck), Ryan (Alexandra), Sylvia (Miguel Mariño), Maryssa (Jon Delorme), Erika and Jayson; and her great grandchildren, Blaine, Chance and Jenkin.
