Rita Ward Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Ward of Cornwall, Ontario, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita Ward to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her significant other Ken. She is survived by: her brother Tom Magill (Kirsten); her children, Rob Ward (Christine), Kelly Ward-MacDonald (Kevin) and Andrea Ward (Tim); her sibling's children, Michael Magill (Myra), Reuban and Eva; her grandchildren, Tessa (Connor), Taya (Dylan), Liam and Thomas; her great grandchild Wren; her uncle Thomas; and her aunt Elsie Conway of Sudbury.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes (46 Oak St, Lancaster, ON K0C1N0). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (20389 Church St, South Lancaster, ON K0C2C0).
Memorial donations may be made in Rita's name to Osteoporosis Canada or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
