He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Cooper; and his parents, John Cooper and Evangeline. He is survived by: his children, Mark Cooper (Judy), Allan Cooper (Ted Bourgon), Audrey Pidgeon (Dave), Carl Cooper (Sherry), Kim Tremblay (Jack) and Robert Cooper (Rachelle); and his siblings, Ruth Lalonde, Arthur Cooper, Bernice Fournier, Alice McCheyne (Paul), Tommy Cooper (Betty) and Linda Coleman. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes West Branch (20 Seventh St W, Cornwall, ON K6J2X7). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.
As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family.
