He was predeceased by: his spouse Gaëtane Leblanc; and his parents, Roland Leblanc and Marie Leblanc. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Murphy (John) of Cornwall, Tammy Poitras (Daniel) of Montreal, Cindy Laperle (Jeff) of Cornwall and Brian Poitras (Angela) of Northfield; his siblings, Rita Deleel of Connecticut and Richard Leblanc (Christine) of Ottawa; and his siblings-in-law, Rene Lafrance (Aline), Gilles Lafrance, Ron Lafrance (Jean), Mike Lafrance (late Debbie), Ileen Cayer (Gerry), Elaine Lafrance (Pete) and Art Lafrance (Elaine).

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation or the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family.
