He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Groves and Edith Groves; and his siblings, Eric, Marilyn Charlebois (late John), Jack (late Betty), Marion, Doreen and Reggie.

He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Erin Langille (Scott), Ryan (Melissa) and Brendan (Ashley); his grandchildren, Amelia, Vivien Langille, Maryn, Calder Groves, Carrick and Lucan Groves; his siblings, Keith'Groves (late Sheila), Allan Groves, Joyce Helmer (Duane), Shirley O'Bryne (late Mel) and Linda McMillan (Lyle); and his siblings-in-law, Brian Andress (Susan) and Laurie Rousseau. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
