He was predeceased by: his parents, Emilien Giroux and Freda Giroux (Aldworth). He is survived by: his wife Lois Giroux (Bilmer); his children, Linda Depatie, Jennifer Avery (Cornwall), Randy Daye (Cornwall), Steven Giroux, Crystal Daye and Timothy Giroux (Cornwall); his pet Leroy; and his siblings, Carol Bedard (Leo) and Raymond Giroux (Marielle). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cornwall Legion.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be greatly appreciated by the family.
