It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Rankin (Cornwall, Ontario), who passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Rankin; her parents, Percy Johnston and Estella Johnston; and her siblings, Douglas Johnston and Mary Lynn Alguire.

She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Grignon (Alain) and Shelley MacRae (Murray); and her grandchildren, Sarah (Patrick), Rebecca (Luke), Ashley, Shannon (Jacques) and Courtney (Scott).

Memorial Donations may be made in Ruth's name to the Canadian Alzheimer Society. Donations are being accepted for: ALZHEIMER/SOCIETY OF CORNWALL & DISTRICT/ SOCIETE ALZHEIMER DE CORNWALL ET REGION.
