Sylvie left this world on December 9, 2025 at the age of 63, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her children, Ian and Caitlin; her sister Paulette; and her parents, Maurice Tessier and Annette Tessier.
She is survived by: her spouse Russell; her siblings, Lise Tessier, Yollande Lalonde (Jean-Pierre), Solange Tessier and Ginette Tessier; her siblings-in-law, Douglas Snetsinger (Estelle) and Heather Copithorne (late Larry); her siblings' children, Stéphane Lalonde and Mélanie Gratton (Grant); her great-nieces, Makayla and Olivia Gratton; and her son Ryan.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (822 Pitt St, Cornwall, ON K6J3S2).
As expressions of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to St. Joseph's Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
