He is survived by: his aunt Wanda Thompson; his cousins, Presley, Elvis Tiger Lee, Jeremy (Mindy), Cody (Jessika), Lacey, Chelsey, John (Shelby), Austin (Allonah), Trina (Randy), Chuya, Kayzia, Johnny, Tory, Marcus (Breeane) and Kyren (Iakorihwiiosta); his siblings, Raymond Oakes, Louis Oakes, Wallace Oakes (Bonnie), Dianne Swamp (Herman), Dora Oakes, Debbie Oakes and Joseph Oakes; his great-uncle Ronnie Cook (Lucille); and his great-aunts, Nancy Ransom (Cecile) and Connie Cook.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Homemaker Centre (1126 River Rd, Akwesasne Reserve No. 15, QC H0M1A1). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
